1. Eligibility for Returns
- General Eligibility: You can return items within 15 days after your order has been completed, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and include all tags and receipts.
- Faulty or Incorrect Items: If you received an incorrect or defective item, you may be eligible for a return or replacement within 15 days of receiving your items. If the item is covered by the ‘Free Return’ service, you have an additional 15 days to decide on the return after the delivery date. Please include photos of the issue to facilitate the process.
- Exceptions: Some items are non-returnable, including the following items:
– Clothing items that have been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery, or have had their tags or hygiene stickers removed.– Grocery and food products.– Health and personal care items.– Some free gifts.– Some customized products.
2. We do not issue the refund if
- your order does not arrive due to factors within your control (e.g. providing the wrong shipping address)
- your order does not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside our control (e.g. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster).
3. Order cancellation
- All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to change or cancel it, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.
4. Return Process
- Contact Customer Support: To start a return, please reach out to us at support@globalstore.co.za with your order number, item details, and reason for return.
- Receive Return Authorization: Once approved, you’ll receive a return authorization and detailed instructions. Returns sent without authorization may not be processed.
- Return Shipping: Follow the instructions provided by customer support to ship your items back. Include a copy of the receipt or packing slip in your package to avoid delays.
5. International Returns
- Return Shipping Costs: For international returns, customers are responsible for return shipping and any applicable customs fees unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Currency: Refunds will be processed in the currency of the original transaction. Exchange rate fluctuations may apply.
6. Processing Time
- Inspection and Refunds: After we receive and inspect the returned item, you will be notified of the approval status. If approved, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.
- Original Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Some banks or credit card providers may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account.
7. Exchanges
- Item Availability: Exchanges are subject to item availability. If the replacement item is not in stock, we may offer a refund.
8. Non-Refundable Items
- Sale and Clearance Items: Items bought on sale or during clearance events are non-refundable. Please check sale terms before purchase.
- Digital Products: Returns or refunds on digital products are only available if the item is faulty or inaccessible.
